Terms of Service

Effective date: July 16, 2026

These terms govern your use of the MyLifeGuardian website and application (the "Service"), operated by ArcadeData ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The most important term: MyLifeGuardian is a tool for organizing and understanding your own health information. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for a doctor. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health, and call your local emergency number in an emergency.

1. The Service

MyLifeGuardian is a private, personal health-record tool: it organizes your medical history into a timeline, reads documents you upload, charts trends, tracks vaccinations, optionally screens raw DNA data you provide, and answers questions about your own record using AI. Features may change as the product evolves.

2. Early access

The Service is currently in early access. That means it is offered as a preview: features may be added, changed, or removed; availability is not guaranteed; and access may be granted, limited, or revoked as we scale. We recommend keeping original copies of any documents you upload during this phase.

3. Not medical advice

  • Content produced by the Service, including AI answers, summaries, trends, recommendations, screening results, and gene–drug notes, is for informational and educational purposes only.
  • The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and is not a medical device.
  • No doctor–patient relationship is created by using the Service.
  • Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read in the Service. Do not change medication or treatment without consulting your clinician.
  • AI-generated content can be incomplete or wrong. Verify anything important with your care team.

4. Genetic screening

If you upload raw DNA data, you understand that consumer raw-data files cover only a limited set of known variants. Screening results are not diagnostic: a "risk" result needs confirmation with clinical-grade testing, and a clear result cannot rule a condition out. Consider speaking with a genetic counselor before acting on any genetic finding. You may only upload DNA data that is your own or that you are legally entitled to manage.

5. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Your content and your data

  • You own your data. Records, documents, and DNA data you add remain yours.
  • You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Service for you, to store, process, display, and analyze your content in order to provide the features you use. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You can export a complete copy of your data, or permanently delete it, at any time.
  • You are responsible for having the right to upload the content you add (for example, records concerning another person you legitimately care for).

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully, or upload content you have no right to use;
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or attempt to access other users' data;
  • reverse engineer the Service or scrape it, except where the law permits;
  • resell the Service or use it to provide medical services to third parties;
  • misrepresent the Service's output as professional medical advice.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, and content other than yours, belongs to ArcadeData and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as hosting, security, and AI model providers) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output (including AI-generated content and document extraction) will be accurate or complete. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArcadeData will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or €100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or threatens the Service or its users, and we may discontinue the Service (or parts of it) with reasonable notice, during which you can export your data. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 10, 11, and 12) survive.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ArcadeData is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you mandatory rights and venues, which remain unaffected.

16. Miscellaneous

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
